Ringo, Paul, John and the other fella were sitting in their local cafe mulling over an arrangement John had been mucking around with. The cafe was busy with people stopping by to chat every so often and it provided a welcome distraction.
John overheard a waitress refer a customer to the strawberry bank for additional napkins and this made him think of the children’s home near where he lived. Maybe with a different arrangement and a couple of tweaks here and there it could work. John hustled the guys back to the studio to try a new version.
