I created this video in honour of the All Blacks winning the Rugby World Cup and the launch of the LIANZA advocacy tools portal.

It was initially inspired by this video from Ireland.

Sally, this is fantastic – and funtastic. I especially like the comparison with pies.
Thank you for also posting it on your blog. I particularly liked your reference to rugby, reading and pies
Kia ora Sally!
I love your video – clever, simple and yet incredibly effective and informative. I have sent it to my daughter’s school so she can spread the word.
Mauri ora

Thanks Trish
Very interesting facts! Great presentations
Wow amazing facts, just think we could form the “Library Party” get our patrons to vote for us and have a landslide victory

That’s very good. It’s interesting to see the figures presented as a comparison to something that is currently on everyone’s mind. If the video was shown to a wider audience i.e. the NZ public, I’m sure there would be some surprised faces.
Thanks!
I was trying to tell a story that would appeal to a general audience, not just libraries and particularly New Zealanders. I’m pleased you think so too.
Feel free to forward it to funders, members of parliament, and tv stations
